In two summers with the Syracuse Spartans of the New York Collegiate Baseball League I had the chance to do everything from producing live broadcasts to running the team's social media pages to conducting interviews, but my favorite adventure was being the team's play-by-play commentator. Here's my call of one of the summer's most exciting finishes!

For four years I had the privilege of writing pregames, postgames and features for WAER Sports at Syracuse University. I got to cover men's basketball, football and lacrosse, meaning I got the privilege of writing about Syracuse greats such as Jim Boeheim, Eric Dungey and Sergio Salcido. While I save most of my music for the shower, I've always loved listening to, writing and performing music. I don't consider myself much of a singer, but rap music has always interested me. Writing rap lyrics combines wit and wordplay with purpose and passion. After having my friends AJ6 (producer) and Headband Mal (rapper) on air to promote their upcoming project, I figured I'd hop on a track myself under my radio persona, DooD. Listen to DRK.
